Want an invitation?!?!?!

We did not have much luck with the mailings, so a lot of names have gone to the search company:

Total Population 485
Deceased 2
Confirmed 55
Return to sender 147
Remainder 281

If you got a letter from REUNIONS LTD in the mail PLEASE return it with your information. We are obviously still looking for a LOT of people. Only fifty five people so far have confirmed that they are around for this. If you want an invitation to the reunion you need to send this back! =)

Can't wait to see you all!

REUNION COMMITTEE WANTS TO KNOW

Knowing that you are invited to the reunion on July 26th 2008 at Arlington Park Racetrack, we want to know

A) Will you be coming to the reunion?
B) Will you be brining a spouse or significant other?

Please respond to us soon because we need to get an estimated head count to the race track to book the event!

Booking dilemma - share your thoughts!

It has occurred to us, the planning committee, that we may be in a crunch regarding the ability to pay for the deposit for a reunion at Arlington Park for the July 26th weekend. Would you be so inclined to pay a deposit (non-refundable) in advance which will be deducted from your final payment for the reunion? Should we hire a planning company which would handle the initial payment but cost more in the end for everyone involved? Should we find an alternative setting such as the Cotillion? Where else could we hold this reunion? We're open to suggestions so please, let us know what you think!

Let's Get Things Started

Why a blog if I'm already on Facebook and MySpace? Because we don't want to exclude anyone we graduated with just because they are not on MySpace or Facebook. So, pass this along. Comment all you want. Let's get this reunion planning off to the right start and get as many people to come as possible. With all the things wrong in this world let's come together as a class and celebrate life, the past, the present and our bright futures!
